We have a neat & traditional stable yard of 8 loose boxes which are constructed in either brick & flint with traditional timber beams, or timber stables.
Attached to the yard is the charming, unique, heated, secure tack room, where each livery has their own designated space consisting of – large lockable storage chest – saddle rack – rug rack – bridle hook – general purpose hooks.
There are also hooks to hang wet rugs to dry overnight.
The tack room has permanent hot & cold water, tea/coffee making facilities, shared dry storage for owner’s food items, fridge for food storage or perishable medication, toaster and microwave.
There is a first aid kit for the liveries.
The yard owner has a fully stocked medicine cabinet for horses, should there be a need in an emergency.
Directly behind the yard is a walled garden which can be used by everyone & this has proved to be most welcome by our existing liveries.
Directly accessible from the yard is the Hay Barn.
The muck heap is situated just away from the main yard along a prepared path.
There are two external cold water points available for use.
We want our liveries to feel at home around the yard & make all the facilities available to them.
Bedding costs are included for part & full liveries.
The owners on DIY or Assisted livery will simply make a mark against their name on the white board in the barn each time they use a new bale. The cost will be added to their monthly invoice.
Hay is included in the cost of all livery packages except DIY.
