Hallacres is a small, family run business run in the main by Rob Hall. Rob started working in stables in exchange for rides & lessons in local dealers & riding schools when he was just 8 years old.
Before leaving school he was already working for local racing trainers John White at Wendover, Bucks & owner/trainer Jack Joseph at Coleshill, Bucks.
He then enjoyed a time at Shardeloes Farm Equestrian Centre before leaving home at 18 for the Valley of the Racehorse, Lambourn, Berks. He was pupil assistant to Jenny Pitman until her retirement & then to Mark Pitman at Weathercock House.
Moving then to Gold Cup winning trainer Noel Chance at Saxon House Stables before sampling flat racing with Gerard Butler.
Rob’s knowledge of horses, care & treatment of injures is vast & as a fully qualified greenkeeper, his paddock maintenance skills are pretty special too!
