A View at Hall AcresSituated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the hacking available to our horses is practically endless and second to none.

Our own Bluebell Walk (also known as Green Lane; Private Hall Acres Land)We have direct access to designated bridleways and our own long woodland ride.
Local Maps are also on display in the tack room clearly depicting routes and the surrounding area.

Also, we are within easy reach of the Chiltern Ridgeway which offers endless opportunities.

Direct access to Woodland WalksThe Ridgeway is a National Trail of approximately 87 miles through ancient landscapes.  Over rolling, open downland to the west of the River Thames, and through secluded valleys and woods in The Chilterns to the east, following the same route used since prehistoric times by travellers, herdsmen and soldiers.

We refer to our middle field as the jumping field or schooling ground.  This is Approximately 12 acres in size and is long and large enough to have successfully exercised racehorses.

Fancy a Spin!!

A view in the jumping or schooling fieldThe ground conditions and drainage capabilities of this area are fantastic and during the spring of 2009 we restored some of the fences to there former glory.  We now aim to provide rows of National Hunt style hurdles and chase fences, as well as adjacent cross country and pole fences.

We are also currently in the process of trying to obtain planning permission to create an all weather riding area.

Whether is a long gentle hack, jumping practice or serious fitness training your horse and you require, we have the facilities to suit.

More bluebells!

Hall Acres are able to offer a basic transport service for our own clients and owners from outside of the yard.

We have the services of an excellent lightweight jockey who is a fully qualified BHS AI instructor and also an "A" rider in pony club.  She is available  to exercise any horses on livery as required, and can also offer lessons on a private basis.
